É constituída pelas associações de acústica dos países de língua espanhola e portuguesa. Atualmente, seus membros são: Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colômbia, Equador, Espanha, México, Portugal, Peru, Venezuela e Uruguai. Durante o 12º Congresso Ibero-Americano de Acústica, realizado em Florianópolis, entre os dias 28 e 31 de agosto de 2022, houve a eleição e posse dos dirigentes da FIA para o período 2022–2026, os quais já disponibilizaram um novo site para a entidade: https://fia-acustica.org. || Title: New board of the Ibero-American Federation of Acoustics (FIA) || Abstract: The Ibero-American Federation of Acoustics (FIA) is a nonprofit civil institution, established in 1995 and registered in Spain. It is comprised of the acoustics associations of Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries.
