Abstract

The 1st Workshop on Mechanical Engineering in the North Region - WEMEC will take place in Belém-PA, from November 26 to 27, 2013, an event linked to the Pará Regional of the Brazilian Mechanical Engineering Association - ABCM and which had the support of the Regional North of the Brazilian Acoustic Society - SOBRAC. In this first edition, the main objective is to integrate the most diverse areas of Mechanical Engineering, as well as to encourage the local academic community to disseminate their research to an audience of students, professors, technicians and lovers of the subject in question.
