This article introduces readers to the LaTeX system. It presents basic information about what LaTeX is, as well as how it works and its purpose. Motivations for its use and how to create a text (or document) in this system are also clarified. The online editing platform Overleaf is used, providing information on how to start a new project and how to use the template files from the journal, “Acoustics and Vibrations”.
