Abstract

The article describes the objectives of the technical-scientific cooperation agreement signed between the Brazilian Acoustic Society (Sobrac) and the Portuguese Acoustic Society (SPA) and points out its origin and motivation. The experience of representatives of the Portuguese language in an international research project demonstrated the importance of working together, in this and in future opportunities, for the development of acoustics in Brazil, Portugal, and worldwide.
