Abstract

The YAN is a cooperative and voluntary young acousticians network. Its objective is to disseminate knowledge and promote acoustics and related areas in Brazil and worldwide. This insert presents its initiation, a brief history of the network (in Brazil and abroad), and a short report of activities. This presentation concludes with how a young acoustician can participate and cooperate, clarifying how to start and what responsibilities are expected from members of the young acousticians network.
