Acoustics and Vibrations (Acústica e Vibrações) uses the LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, and PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) systems for digital preservation.
The LOCKSS system was created by Stanford Libraries, with other collaborations, and has become a trusted community for long-term digital integrity assurance.
The PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) provides free preservation services for any OJS journal that meets a basic set of criteria. The internal PKP PN plugin deposits preserved content into PKP's LOCKSS Private Network for preservation.
Other important aspects of AeV digital preservation are:
- backup cloud storage of the files; and
- copying on more than one computer hosted at the journal publisher.
