This work aims to propose a classroom model with acoustic design suitable for teaching music in elementary and high schools, driven by the demand generated from law 11,769, of August 18, 2008, which makes compulsory music teaching in schools at these levels. Rocha (2010) concluded in his research that in the investigated schools there was no previous conception of architecture aimed at this activity, which culminated in the adaptation of spaces without technical parameters for this. From this analysis, it was sought in the literature requirements that indicated parameters to be reached for a good performance of environments of this nature for adaptations. The strategy defined was to select a room used for teaching music that was not designed for that purpose, seeking to approach the reality found in Rocha (2010). Subsequently, the acoustic response of the room was measured and the virtual simulation was carried out, which allowed simulating changes in the acoustic parameters deemed relevant to propose tested modifications and meet the specifications. In the search for the definition of parameter values to guide the execution of room projects for music teaching and the proposition of an adapted environment that uses these values, an investigation of the state of the art of the development of acoustic design for rooms for this purpose was carried out. . After formatting a group of values defined in the literature from an extensive bibliographic review, changes were proposed in the initial typologies of the virtualized room, the numerical results were collected and then taken to the auralization process, when it was possible to hear the room's response to the various instruments and voices that the software has in the library. These auditions allowed the evaluation of the quality of the room, indicating the subjective impressions that guided the research result.
